Hello everyone I hope all is well. For those of you that may not know September is suicide prevention month. There are many people out there who have had suicidal thoughts and/or self-harm. Currently, there is some stigma around those who have suicidal thoughts where people will say they are overreacting or desperate for attention. But the reality of the matter is we never know what someone is truly going through. Everyone has struggled in their own lives and to assume that someone else’s negative emotions are invalid is immature. If you or someone else you know is struggling with suicidal thoughts you can call the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline at 1800-273-TALK(8255). This hotline is available 24/7 and you can discuss anything that is on your mind with someone who will not judge you and will make suggestions about how to cope with your emotions. Additionally, you can always DM me to talk this is a safe space. Please keep in mind that if you are struggling with this just know that even if you feel like you are all alone there are people who love you and will do anything to help you get better. I promise you your life is worth living, and just remember that suicide is a permanent solution to a temporary problem. I promise things do get better even if it feels hopeless. ❤️
